This last Saturday we had a “Wycliffe and Me” day here at the Wycliffe Centre. We had 11 people attending, who wanted to know more about how they can be involved in the task of Bible translation.
It was a really good day, despite the relatively low numbers, with most of the people there considering going overseas at some point. Many of those there were fairly young (under 30…) and either students or having recently finished university.
We had testimonies from Wycliffe people working in various places, as well as looking at topics like raising financial support, and taking a look at the Vision 2025 Discovery Centre here.
Please pray for the 11 people who attended, that they would know what the Lord is calling them to – whether that’s going overseas short- or long-term, or supporting missionary work from the UK.
